Adele’s Palatial Home Haunted?

British singer Adele will not sleep alone in her new UK mansion. According to numerous reports, the Grammy award winning singer is completely convinced that her crib is haunted. Adele reportedly hired her female driver to double as a bodyguard and move into the 10-bedroom home to live with Adele, so she has someone with her at all times. Adele told British newspapers, “I’m not rattling around here on my own. It gives me the creeps.” Adele, was creeped out big time after “hearing things that made her jump” in the middle of her $11 million 25 acre home home in southern England. “Adele was so excited to be renting such a lavish property but it has not turned out as happily as it should have,” the friend added. “She is convinced it is haunted. She knows about its religious history — and it’s a big place to be in on your own in the dead of night.” Adele’s £7million...

If anything there are a lot of folks out there willing to fake it. House For Sale SCARY LIVING: Are buyers willing to buy and move into haunted properties? Interviews with several real estate agents are revealing. In Hong Kong, properties where the previous owner died unnatural deaths (for example suicide or murder) can be legally declared haunted. Due to local belief that such deaths lead to ghosts troubling new occupants, such properties usually see price discounts of up to 40 per cent. And investors are snapping them up. “There’s a group of investors who bid for these properties specifically and then rent it to people who don‘t mind its bad history,“ says Eric Wong of Hong Kong-based property website squarefoot.com.hk. Demand is such that squarefoot.com.hk even has a dedicated listing of haunted properties, with details of the gruesome deaths that took place in each property. The channel was created for real estate agents who wanted easier access to such information. The cheaper price attracts foreigners who are more concerned with price than superstition as well as local buyers looking to rent out the properties to foreigners while hoping for the property’s value to rise again after the stories die down with time. Is there a small market for haunted properties in Malaysia too? A matter of price: “Not really,” says Yoong Kim Wah from the Property Champ agency, laughing off the idea. “But a ‘reputation’ does affect a property’s...

The Library Ghost

The Library Ghost

For over 110 years Willard Library stood in the state of Indiana. The library, housed in a beautiful Victorian Gothic building in Evansville, is nestled gloriously near the downtown area of this southwestern Indiana city of 130,000 people. The Grey Lady ghost as she’s referred was first reported to have been seen in Willard Library in the late 1930s by a custodian. Since that time, those looking—and not looking—for the apparition have reported unexplained events and sightings. The library has attracted some notable paranormal investigators including MESA (multi-energy sensor array), TAPS, and other teams looking for ghosts. The first reported incident happened sixty years ago to a library employee who trekked through the snowy cold for his nightly duty. Since then, countless other employees and patrons have reported seeing this apparition, each giving an eerily similar description. Is the legend true? We’ll leave that for you to decide. The Grey Lady ghost was first reported to have been seen in Willard Library in the late 1930s by a custodian. Since that time, those looking—and not looking—for the apparition have reported unexplained events and sights. Who’s Looking? The Grey Lady was last reportedly sighted on August 10, 2010 in the basement hallway by the Assistant Children’s Librarian. Psychics visiting the library in 2007 say they were able to verify that a ghost has been there, and paranormal investigative groups have brought in equipment designed to locate it. Several library employees have reported seeing the ghost, including Margaret Maier, Children’s Librarian, and Helen Kamm, Library Assistant. During a visit to the library, lecturers from the University of Southern Indiana say they saw the ghost peering into water. Policemen responding to a security alarm at the library spotted two ghosts in an upstairs window of the library. A library patron reported an encounter with the Grey Lady in the library elevator, and a local weathercaster also reported an encounter with the spirit. Hundreds of people look for the Grey Lady every October, during Ghost Tours sponsored by the library. Eight—hundred curious individuals attended the first such tour in the late 1990s, which have been a popular annual event ever since. Check the site for upcoming tours Library...

Shapeshifter Blamed For Childs Death

A couple in the Phillipino city of Talisay have stumped authorities and investigators with the accusations that a “paranormal creature” killed their newborn child. Last week, the grandparents of John Edison Malacay began to notice red marks scattered across the floor of their 18 year old daughter Kimberly’s house, a discovery that they simply attributed to rats, until they began finding bonified blood stains in the kitchen. After a panicked telephone call, Kimberly rushed home to find her newborn son oozing blood from his mouth and nose, his navel punctured as if it were being drained. The child was pronounced dead at the hospital. The family has since been adamant that a “shapeshifting”, paranormal creature is to blame for the death of their son, a conclusion that even their neighbors have reached after noticing blood on the roof of the supposed crime scene. The police refuse to believe the couple’s claims of supernatural involvement, but admit that they are clueless as to the cause of the child’s death. Even the local bishop tried to calm the local’s fears of monsters running amok. “I haven’t heard of a ghoul on Christmas,” he told the SunStar Cebu. “But there is on the Holy Week.” The minister forgot about Krampus and friends apparently. Chupacabras Possibly To Blame

Did a mysterious chupacabras kill 35 sheep in the Mexican town of Paracuaro? That’s what local citizens want to know as they ponder the mysterious deaths of their livestock. The UFO Chronicles website mentions noted Mexican state Michoacan’s Diario ABC reporting that the unfortunate sheep were slain in the wee hours of March 1 with their bodies displaying claw and tooth injuries, especially under the neck. Which is after all the smartest place to attack and kill an animal, just watch Lions on any National Geographic special. One man who was looking after the sheep in their pens said he saw the creature responsible for the attacks. He reportedly said it had fangs, claws and wings. The enclosure where the sheep lived also included cows, horses and pigs, which apparently weren’t injured in the attack. So perhaps the beast has a thing for Sheep? Wouldn’t be the first wink wink nudge nudge say no more. “Anything mysterious in Mexico is unfortunately labeled a ‘chupacabras,’ according to Loren Coleman, director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine. After looking at the video of the current chupacabras story, Coleman is doubtful. “I see one sheep with its neck cut. But despite what is said, all of the sheep are not dead, and the bodies do not show a great deal of mutilation,” Coleman wrote in an email to The Huffington Post. Coleman suggests that the animals succumbed to some kind of disease rather than a predatory attack. “As to the one eyewitness saying he saw that ‘it had fangs, claws and wings, and moved very quickly’, well, how big, what color, no drawings?” Writing in Skeptic.com, Sharon Hill also doubts the chupacabras portion of the story, including the news video connected with it. “It shows an array of dead animals, some are alive, but only one has a neck gash,” Hill wrote. “I see no blood on the others at all.” Hill also notes that people often “tell exaggerated stories or they may very well misperceive what they see.” “Honestly the fish was this big” yeah like that never happens huh. This is not the first time such a report has emerged from south of...

Ghost Blamed for Knicks Loss

Ghost Blamed for Knicks Loss

In January of 2012 some humiliated New York Knicks players blamed some ghosts for their trashing Monday the 9th by the Oklahoma City Thunder. It was inevitable, really, that the legend of the Skirvin Hilton Hotel’s 10th floor being haunted would become a national story. Now, it appears, the tale is at least getting around in the sports world. But is there any truth to the legend of a housekeeper named Effie being impregnated by hotelier W.B. Skirvin and then jumping to her death, baby in arms, from a 10th floor window? That was one of the big mysteries Jack Money and Steve Lackmeyer delved into as they researched their book “Skirvin” (released in December). Yes, a lot of wicked things occurred on that 10th floor. And yes, W.B. Skirvin was a notorious womanizer and drinker. Understand first that the 10th floor originally was the top of the hotel before a third tower and three more stories were added between World War I and 1930. Rooms on the floor consisted of salesman’s suites, built extra large to accommodate temporary displays set up by traveling salesmen. But were they also used for gambling and vice? Newspaper archives show the suites being raided by authorities on multiple occasions. On one visit, police seized fixed roulette wheels; in another incident, authorities discovered “loose” women, beer, a bullet hole in the ceiling and a trail of blood in the bedroom and bathroom. Hotel employees insisted they saw nothing and only heard the sound of a gunshot. Official Skirvin Hilton response: “We’re happy to have been able to host the New York Knicks, and certainly from my perspective nothing in or around the hotel affected their stay. The superstitions of some of their players perhaps got the best of them. We’re glad they stayed with us, and we’re proud to be an NBA city.” John Williams, general manager The Skirvin had its share of mysterious deaths. The shooting death of the hotel’s first manager was investigated as a homicide, and Skirvin and his staff gave conflicting stories that would encourage one to doubt their insistence the manager committed suicide. And Skirvin’s own death — the result of a hit-and-run...

More Gaga Ghost Stories

Gaga Ghost Hunting Its reported that Lady Gaga purchased five thousand dollars worth of gadgets such as an Electro-Magnetic Field meter to carry out a “spirit-seeking sweeps.” Investigator Dan Webb told the Daily Mirror that his group received a request just before her Monster Ball tour arrived at the O2 arena in London. Her staff was instructed to seek out any spirits that may be lurking at the arena before she took the stage. She requested durable equipment and the belief is that she is taking the purchased ghost busting kit with her wherever she goes to search out any ghostly presence before her shows. Mr. Webb was reportedly surprised by exactly who was requesting the paranormal assistance. Lady Gaga certainly would not be the first celebrity to come forward with the belief that they are being haunted by a spirit or negative energy. Actors Nicolas Cage, Keanu Reeves ,Neve Campbell, Jean Claude Van Damme and singers Sting , Bryan Adams, Belinda Carlisle, Liam Gallagher and Paul McCartney just to name a few have all reportedly had ghostly encounters. Lady Gaga admits that she bought the Ghost hunting kit. Gaga uses the Ghostbuster device for regular sweeps to fend off evil spirits that are haunting her. Gaga notes that the problem started weeks before the Monsters Ball Tour and is convinced that she needs the equipment to fight against negative forces. “When I took the order for the kit I had no idea who it was for. But then I checked the listings and saw who was playing the O2. Her aide said the gear had to be robust as they were taking it on the road. So they must be doing this everywhere […] Gaga is performing,” Ghost Hunting firm owner Dan Webb said in a statement. Gaga, 24, is terrified of “bad energy” and hired Dan Webb’s firm to do a complete cleansing behind the stage at London’s O2 Arena. Gaga originally thought she was experiencing a mental breakdown, or hallucinations, that usually come with schizophrenia. However, she is still convinced that unseen forces are haunting her. At the end of the day I think its awesome she’s taking matters into her...

Ghosbusters3 Evolves Again

Ghosbusters3 Evolves Again

Well, last we heard Dan and Harold were squirreled away madly writing the script for Ghostbusters 3, and re-writing it. Bill Murray said he’d only be on board if he thought the script was worthy. So I guess we owe some kudos to the Mr Murray for being our Quality control on the film. Recently “Men in Black 3” scribe Etan Cohen, was brought in to take the plot idea’s that Dan and Harold came up with and make a polished script. “The Office” scribes Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky were hired in September 2008 to breath life into the blockbuster franchise that started in 1984 with Ivan Reitman’s “Ghostbusters.” a film that was Columbia Pictures’ highest-grossing film ever, until it was beaten by “Men in Black” and then “Spider-Man.” The third installment has been foretold to find original cast members Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Bill Murray passing the torch to a new generation of Ghostbusters and Dan has hinted that this happens in the wake of a 2012 apocalypse scenario. Cohen previously wrote Ben Stiller’s “Tropic Thunder” and Mike Judge’s “Idiocracy.” He’s also attached to make his directorial debut with Paramount’s horror-comedy “Boy Scouts vs. Zombies,” which follows three high school Boy Scouts who must use their skills to save their small town from a vicious zombie outbreak. Cohen was the sole credited writer on “Men in Black 3,” which has grossed more than $600 million worldwide since opening at the end of May. So this Ghosthead hasn’t lost hope that an amazing Ghostbusters film is enroute. We’ll...

Creepy YouTube Videos

Real or Fake? You decide. The media is full of fake paranormal video’s. Its gone so far as to almost be an un-advertised contest for users to try and one up each others faked video’s But what if there were some real genuine footage out there? I’m going to scour YouTube and try and find the most legit paranormal video I can. I have a fair amount of know how with video editing software, stuff like photoshop and AfterEffects so I like to think I can recognize faked video’s when I see one. I’ve been scouring YouTube for some time now and really every video I’ve seen is fake. I’ve never seen anything to make me believe that ghosts are here among us, and I really do want to believe. So I decided to search for some of the closest video’s I could find, but like I said, I don’t think any of them are real. It takes a decent amount of leg work to find these so I implore you to send me stuff you’ve seen. A note on ‘ORBS’ I think the whole phenomenon of orbs is complete BS. bugs and dust is what it is.. sometimes water vapour. I digress though, so on with the video’s. Testimonial from children – hard to say really especially so young, but who knows. The following video, looks to play forward and then back… This was featured in an episode of fact or faked. This series of video’s shows stacked chairs, there’s one with cutlery. But you don’t actually see who’s doing it. So we’re supposed to take it on your account that a ghost did that. This video has a dog off kilter, which would happen I suspect, however those dogs can be jumpy at the best of times. This is one of the best video’s I’ve seen, and it doesn’t really show anything. This video is pretty decent but it leaves me wondering if something is being projected into the tree’s from the other side of the tree’s away from the camera. This video has some pretty fun looking clips. True or fake? you...
